Eduardo Saro Diez
Murcia, 1957. I ask him when he started working as a designer, and he goes back to the beginning. At the beginning of it all... “I was a child conditioned by fragile health, but I was also a very beloved child, educated with great freedom by parents who were determined to make contact with the world at a very early age.”

José Luis Giménez del Pueblo
Hellín (Albacete), 1951. This designer who declares “I was born Murcian, but they made me La Mancha”, trained in the USA, where he worked and married the photographer and writer Pamela Hampton. With her he set up a studio in Bolnuevo (Murcia) in the early 80s, establishing relationships with many local creatives. Later settled in Madrid and a traveller again, Pepe has been the creator of many of the great national graphic brands. Widowed since 1991 and affected by blindness in recent years, he has made important donations from his archives and has focused on another of his passions: flamenco singing.

Carlos Salamanca
Valladolid, 1951 - Murcia, 1991. Carlos Salamanca was a self-taught painter who came to Murcia in the early 80s accompanying other Valladolidians who set up businesses in the city. For a decade, he brought his images to clients who needed fresh design for music and entertainment events aimed at young people. The spaces of the Department of Youth of the City of Murcia were its most important clients. At the end of his life he was also able to exhibit his painting on a couple of occasions.

Ángel Fernández Saura
Murcia, 1953. Two paradoxes applicable to this colleague and collaborator of our project: being a full-blooded Murcian and with a stable base in the capital, he is one of our most well-traveled and internationally distinguished creators. Better known as a photographer than as a designer, he is the author of posters, catalogs, and other tangible graphics that have illustrated our lives for more than three decades. Ángel is also one of MDRM's collaborators.

A history in two parts and an intermission” and has made an important donation of posters to the Museum of Murcia.
