Valladolid, 1951 - Murcia, 1991. Carlos Salamanca was a self-taught painter who came to Murcia in the early 80s accompanying other Valladolidians who set up businesses in the city. For a decade, he brought his images to clients who needed fresh design for music and entertainment events aimed at young people. The spaces of the Department of Youth of the City of Murcia were its most important clients. At the end of his life he was also able to exhibit his painting on a couple of occasions.

Molina de Segura (Murcia), 1950 – Murcia, 2024. An outstanding cartoonist since his earliest childhood, creator of the Chipola Family and many other characters and comics with great social content, founder in the 80s of the pioneering and renowned advertising agency Contraplano and father of two designer daughters, Joaquín García Abellán had time, before he was afflicted with Alzheimer's, to give himself up to another passion: painting.
